Lady Portia

在天秤座的日子裡,想談談與天秤座有點點關係的瓶子b59,關於公平公正的能量~

在aura-soma裡,其中有一支瓶子叫Lady Portia(pale yellow/pale pink),這個名字除了在莎士比亞的劇作"威尼斯商人"裡出現過外,未能在其他地方找到這個名字,而加上瓶子帶來的訊息與劇作的故事內容相若,所以我們相信瓶子所指的lady portia即是the merchant of venice裡的女主角portia.

且看顏色:她是一個閨女,對愛情充滿幻想和期待,而且她是一個十分美麗可愛的女生,劇作寫她還是少女的年代,準備待嫁之心,這些特徵剛好乎合了粉紅色;當她女扮男裝,在法庭裡運用她的智慧,求回她老公的好朋友的生命,和後來她運用一個小方法,讓老公知道求他好友的博士就是她,都彰顯了黃色的能量.

我們先看她在劇中法庭裡所述說的一番話:
"the quility of mercy is not strained.
it droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven upon the place beneath.
it is twice blessed.
it blesseth him that gives and him that takes.
tis mightiest in the mighty.
it becomes the throned monarch better than his crown.
his sceptre shows the force of temporal power.
the attribute to awe and magesty wherein doth sit the dread and fear of kings.
but mercy is above this sceptred sway.
it is enthroned in the heart of kings.
it is an attribute to God himself and earthly power doth then show likest God's when mercy seasons justice.
therefor, jew though justice be your plea, consider this.
that in the course of justice. none of us should see salvation.we do pray for mercy.
and that same prayer doth teach us all to render the deeds of mercy.
i have spoke thus much to mitigate the justice of your plea which, if you follow this strict court of Venice must needs give sentence against the merchant there."

(慈悲不是出於勉強
它像從天上降下塵世的甘霖,它的祝福是雙倍的,同時祝福著施與受的人
它有超乎一切的無上威力,比皇冠更足以顯出帝王的高貴
權杖不過象徵著俗世的權威,使人民對帝王的尊嚴凜然生畏,但慈悲的力量卻在於權力之上,它深藏於帝王的內心,是一種屬於上帝的德性
執法的人倘能平衡慈悲與公道,人的權力就跟神的力量無異
所以,猶太人,雖然你所要求的是公道,但真的執行賞罰,誰也別指望救贖,我們既祈禱求上帝慈悲,就應祈禱遵行訓示,做慈悲的事,我說這番話,是希望你能夠讓步,可是,如果你堅持威尼斯無私的法庭,只好宣判,把那商人定罪了)

這劇像是愛情片,但當中述說著每個人也有缺點,怎樣包容對方的缺點,寬恕和釋放也是很重要的課題!
亦都為什麼vicky wall 曾說:"judge not,that you be not judged"
而這支瓶子也是為大家帶來這個訊息~

**前幾年有人重拍"the merchant of venice",但口諀不好...即使有Al Pacino都好,大家也批評得體無完膚咁,而我當時是很想看,但奈何遇不到機會...一擱就兩年了....今天終於有時間坐下來好好細看,有幾個位也覺得很感動,是很值得自己一個人坐下來靜靜細看的戲~
還記得中六時參加劇社,我改編了這個劇的一小段,當日只彰顯了女主角的智慧,讓她鋒芒畢露,今天再看此劇,想到當年忘掉從中表現她的慈悲心腸,實在有點羞愧
