Colour Healing for the Inner Child: Aura-Soma & the 5 Bodytypes by Samudro Prem

The Aura-Soma Colour-Care-System® is based upon the universal language of colour. Through colour we can understand and learn many other systems that help people in their life. Within the full set Aura-Soma of coloured “Equilibrium” bottles, the ones with a clear (transparent) oil fraction over coloured water fractions, are deemed to be the New Aeon Child Set. These can be recommended to be used by children of all ages, that is not only young people but adults who wish to be conscious of the issues of their inner child.

The Aura-Soma New Aeon Child Set reveals further that as children we pass through five stages of growth:

1 - pink for love that in needed in the first year

2 - blue for protection

3 - green for exploring the world

4 - gold for learning and confidence,

5- violet for the transitions we experienced when growing up.

In multiple forms of therapy, the childhood experience is commonly regarded as being of immense influence for the whole lifetime of the individual, especially the first seven years of life. The saying: “Give me the child until the age of seven, and I will give you the man,” reveals to us the crucial period of psychological conditioning that each child passes through.

Psychological therapies such as the Bodytypes system, aim to make adults more conscious of how their subconscious was formed in their first seven years. The Bodytypes system, also called Character Analysis, is based on the teaching of psychologist Alexander Lowen, author of “Bioenergetics,” and “The Language of the Body.” He continued the work of his predecessor Wilhelm Reich, who was the first psychoanalyst to work with people on physical and emotional levels. Lowen gives us a system with five stage of childhood development in which natural growth can become arrested due to psychological, emotional or even physical trauma.
A trauma creates a fixation within the psyche and also in the energy of the developing child, so that the body structure is also affected. The mind and the body cannot be regarded as separated entities especially during childhood development, as the body grows the mind is also growing and vice versa. What happens to the mind happens to the body. As children pass though several necessary stages of development, we can find what happened to them has had an influence on their body structure. Five basic types of body structure have been discovered. Coincidentally, the Aura-Soma system has five basic coloured Equilibrium bottles.

In this course we make correspondences between the five Aura-Soma New Aeon Child bottles B11-B15 and the five bodytypes of Lowen’s Character Analysis. We understand that there are five natural stages of childhood development, in which the colours can reflect the positive gift or talent the child could learn at that particular age as well as the possible challenges the child will meet.

B20 The Star Child Aura-Soma bottle is a summary of the natural needs of each child. The colours of the bottle reflect that what we need as children is unconditional love, protection and guidance.

Pink is universally accepted as representative of love, a love that is given unconditionally. Pink also is seen as a feminine colour. It is the colour of the Universal Mother energy, that which gives without asking anything in return. Each mother has this potential, however due to her own limitations or circumstances, our own mother have not have been able to give us all the love we needed as a new born baby. Thus pink can also represent the memory of being unloved or rejected, and our attraction to it can be a thirst to get unconditional love, a natural mother’s love.

Applying the Aura-Soma pink colour to our bodies and aura will help focus our awareness on the earliest memories of childhood, when as newly born babies we were totally dependent on our mother for our survival. Food is not the only nourishment a baby needs, love is nourishment for the spirit of the baby, and without getting love as a baby we feel unwelcomed in this world. For a new born baby love is the same as survival. These earliest life experiences are not just in the past, they are still alive in our unconscious memories. The Inner Child in us causes us to feel the survival fear again whenever love is withdrawn. It may not be the love of our mother that we now consciously looking for, it can be the love in our intimate relationships. We learn relationship patterns in childhood, through the way our parents loved, or did not love us and the way we saw how they loved, or did not love each other.

Pink can help us resolve our love issues as it contains the energies that help us feel love and to discover how to love ourselves. Pink is a very positive energy, so it helps us not to blame the people in our past – mother or beloveds – who we felt did not love us, and to now move on and take responsibility to bring the love that we need into our life now. In this way we can learn to become a caring parent to our own inner child.

As “blue is for boys” it represents male energy and so it is also about our father. Naturally the father’s role is as a provider, a protector and as a guide. However blue can also represent morality and traditional values, a following of discipline and rules rather than a support of our natural abilities. Blue is also a cool colour, somehow it feels distant, which is an all too common feeling for many people that their father was too distant. Practically it could be because he was busy working, but for the emotional memory of our inner child it can feel like a cutting off from love, a rejection of who we are, that we are not worthy of attention or love. And we are left without a guide to help us discover our talents and encourage us to learn.

Blue can also represent the protection that a mother gives to a child. Sometimes it is not the actual mother and father of a child that act as parents; it can be other family members or adoptive parents. However the child continues to need love and protection, and when these are not given or are given too much, the memory will affect us.

This course includes three days of teaching, diagnosis of one’s own type, practicing bodytype diagnosis of others plus working with the energy of the Aura-Soma products to support the transformation from challenge to gift, from conditioned reaction to spontaneous awareness and unconditional self-love.
The fourth day is optional for those who wish to learn the additional skill of using the combination of Bodytype diagnosis together with body massage. Using the healing energies of the Aura-Soma Equilibrium coloured energized oils in correspondence to the places of the body associated with the childhood traumas of the bodytypes can begin a deep healing process for the client.

This course is open to all, for people new to either or both systems it will provide a solid foundation form which to learn more. For existing Aura-Soma practitioners it provides new consultation skills they may offer to their clients.
